L for Lincoln House and L for Lovin’ it. Live Green. Love Green. Think Green. Live well. Laugh often. Love always.
Wonderful L words for my learned, legendary, lion-hearted Lincoln team who have enjoyed another exciting chapter in the life of a Lincoln student.
My dear loyal Lincolnites, from the lady who wears pearls, here are some pearls of Lincoln wisdom...
Live well and act thoughtfully! Live in a way that enables you to explore and re ect on the ordinary happenings of life, as well as the extraordinary. I have witnessed from all of you moments when you have acted out ordinary things in an extraordinary way. I think of you singing The Lion Sleeps Tonight and dancing to Cotton Eye Joe. Extraordinary performances!
Laugh often! Laughter, humour and joy are an important part of life. It helps us keep things in perspective and it removes the danger of taking ourselves and our lives too seriously. Laughter helps us stay positive and is an important tool for keeping our troubles in proportion. I see so many of you leading happy, healthy and productive lives because you make time to laugh.
Love always! Add some joie de vivre to
your lives. Love and appreciate life. Love
the journey of learning, wonder at nature, relish a good story, feel good about your achievements and enjoy the company of others. Love the fact that once a member of Lincoln you are always a member of Lincoln. Love the fact that our Lincoln hearts beat as one — Noster Nostril.
