Bold and proud Yellow and loud That’s US SALISBURY!
We had such a fun year being part of our highly competitive, supportive and inclusive house that is Salisbury.
Our aim for the year was to have fun and be student-led in all aspects of house events and meetings. Lucas and Emma were a great team with well-balanced skills in sport and culture.
House Singing was fantastic - it was totally student-led in planning, costuming and choreography. We rocked with our small band and everyone will remember the haunting voices of Ngapuhi and Hayden leading us in, and the small body of Maddie as a sleeping lion cub closing our performance. No wonder we won.
The line-dancing was one of the most fun events, again completely student-led. We performed a break-out dance to the Chicken Dance song. Most memorable for us all was Sam Webb coaching Mr Rees Gibbs in the Fortnite dance. It was a show-stopper in our performance, but it never stopped being hilarious in our rehearsals.
Another big win for Salisbury was Athletics Day. Well done Salisbury, as this was not just due to some fantastic athletes, but mostly due to team spirit coming through and our high level of participation.
Well done everyone!
Bold and proud Yellow and loud That’s US SALISBURY!
