YEAR 0-2 SYNDICATE
What a busy and productive year 2018
has been! A year full of change and opportunities to practise resilience, new learning and appreciation! We had an amazing group of children, supported by their dedicated teachers and wonderfully supportive parents. I would like to convey my thanks and appreciation to the outstanding teachers in the Junior School team, who have shown dedication, professionalism
and inspiration in all they have planned and provided for the students in their care this year. It has made for a year full of opportunities, growth and successes. Some of the highlights of the year include:
• Camp week, learning to become a
team and challenging ourselves with new experiences
• A superb Disco, thoroughly enjoyed by Junior School students
• Moving the Year 1 students back to the Junior School and the Year 2s into the new Day Building
• Book Week
• Visit by Life Education for a week
• Cross Country, Swimming and Athletics competitions
• Hilda Ross Retirement Home visit to perform for the elderly
• Founder’s Day
• Many new students joining us in Terms
2, 3 & 4 and becoming part of the Junior School family
• A wonderful Nativity Production thoroughly enjoyed by the children as they prepared for it
A special thank you to all the parents, teacher aides and school colleagues who have supported and helped us through changing times in the Junior School this year. We have so appreciated all those moments when people have stepped in to ensure we moved seamlessly through busy times to keep programmes and student well-being at the forefront of all we do. It is during these times that we most see our school values of caring, resilience, respect, creativity, integrity and excellence in action! It truly has been a family affair year.
