YEAR 3-4 SYNDICATE
2018 has been another wonderful year of learning for the children in our syndicate. We very much enjoyed moving into our new building and feel very privileged to be working in such a spacious, collaborative environment.
Camp is always a highlight and this year was no exception. During this week of living in the Boarding House and going on exciting day trips, the children demonstrated all our Southwell values. We watched them overcome personal challenges in a variety of situations, collaborate in groups to achieve a common goal, creatively problem solve and design new and exciting things.
Our syndicate has been involved in
spelling professional development and this has seen a positive change in the way we teach our children. They are now more able to talk about their learning and apply new concepts in their everyday writing.
Whether it be academically, in the sporting arena, the arts, cultural or music, every child has had an opportunity be a star in some way.
Thank you to Mrs Holah, Mrs Velzian, Mrs Cameron and of course the children for another great year.

Bucking Boar Corn Maze
I went to Bucking Boar Corn eld Maze.
I got lost in the maze. Luckily Mollie was in our group or we would have been there forever. I went really fast down the waterslide. It was fun. The cat was really cute. I loved the animals. I went around and around in the maze and I saw lots of corn. Luckily we nally got out.

Dappled light, uttering leaves, Peaceful, chirping birds,
Trees in shafts of light,
Full serenity.
Moss that feels like plush, green velvet, Delicate leaves,
Trees talking to me.
