Hayden Stoevelaar, our ICT Manager, and his partner Stacey welcomed into the world their second son Tait, a gorgeous little brother for Kane.
Jason and Janine Speedy have had
their contribution to rowing at St Peter’s School in Cambridge honoured. A new rowing boat, donated by Simon Perry (1972 - 1977) and Marlene Julian,
has been named the Speedy boat in recognition of the Speedy’s contribution.
At the beginning of the 2018 academic year, the Southwell Staff Service Awards were held. Mark Webb and Keith Rees--Gibbs (picutred above) were acknowledged as having given 20 years of service to the school.
This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the character, loyalty and dedication of two outstanding men. Congratulations to you both and thank you for your loyal service. The support you offer our students, Mark in Learning Support and Keith, in the Boarding House, is hugely appreciated.

Our art teacher, Brya Wing, was involved in a Chorus project Paint a Cabinet Beautiful. This initiative is part of the Keep NZ Beautiful programme, aiming to minimise graffiti in the community and to support local artists. It is fantastic to see Brya supporting such a worthwile community project.
Congratulations to Rebecca Porter, our Accounts Manager, and Alex Newland who were married in a beautiful ceremony of Saturday, 10 March 2018 at Narrows Landing in Hamilton.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Deputy Headmater, Keryn Bindon and her husband Matt, on the safe arrival of their son Monty John, who was born on 10 June 2018. Monty’s big brother and sister are super proud!
