A MESSAGE FROM THE TRUST BOARD
It was an immensely exciting day when we officially opened the new Murray and Ann Day Building. I am sure everyone would agree that the new building fits so well within our campus and is an incredible facility. We were pleased with the timeframe it was completed in, the value it has provided the School and the excellent quality of the design and construction.
It is also very fitting that this building is named the Murray and Ann Day Building. Murray and Ann epitomise a lifetime of commitment, passion and belief in Southwell School and we are grateful of their incredible support.
The addition to the campus brings state- of-the-art technology, usability, comfort and flexibility. We are grateful to the staff for their adaptiveness with learning spaces throughout the construction phase, when we had to relocate classrooms to allow this development to take place.

Our School is in a very strong position, with many of the year groups full this year and with our roll filling positively for 2019. The positivity, encouragement and passion for success is commended and we are very fortunate to have such a great team of staff taking care of our School and families.
As we embrace the winter terms it
is fantastic to see so many families involved and supporting our sporting teams and extracurricular groups. It is a pleasure to witness the ever-present fun-filled vibe, whether that is on the sideline at sport or in the audience of a performing arts group.
Thanks to everyone for their support of Southwell School.

We would like to acknowledge and pay tribute to Ken Williamson, a long-time supporter of Southwell School. Ken is a former Southwell parent, a current member of the Trust Board and the Southwell School Foundation. He was recently awarded a Hamilton City Council Civic Award for Services
to Education and the Community. Congratulations Ken.
WEDDINGS AND FUNCTIONS AT SOUTHWELL
At Southwell we have a wide range of event spaces for weddings, corporate events, exhibitions and shows. Our Auditorium, Great Hall, Dining Room and outdoor garden venues are all available to hire.
Our old boys and girls also have the option to use our beautiful All Hallows Chapel.
