WELCOME TO OUR NE W FELLOWS
GEOFF & LINDA MABER
Geoff and Linda have a long history with Southwell School. Geoff attended the school as a boarder finishing in 1960. Linda and Geoff were married in All Hallows Chapel in 1970, and subsequently enrolled their two sons Craig and Brett in the mid 1980’s.
Brett and his wife Jo are parents of recent Southwell pupils, Maddison and Maclaren, and current student Nixon making the Mabers one of our very special families with three generations attending.
Stripes aside, the Maber family own and operate The Power Farming Group, with HQ based in Morrrinsville with Geoff, Craig and Brett at the helm of this global business, a multi-generational organisation that really keeps all parties seriously busy, especially Brett who is often found running Alumni projects from Airport Lounges!
More recently Geoff and Linda showed great support by assisting Southwell with the costs involved in the building of the Alumni Sports Pavilion. Geoff and Linda, thank you and welcome to the Fellows Family.
RACHEL KRIELEN
A familiar face to many, Rachel’s long association with Southwell began way back when two of her three children
enrolled as Southwell pupils Theo (2004-09) and Silvana (2005-06).
Following the passing of husband Steve, Rachel joined the staff here at Southwell in the Learning Support Team and served as a valued member for over 10
years before heading to the Admin Team for her
second decade as Alumni Secretary and Foundation Administrator. Organising and hosting many community fundraising events including Art Ex, sports days, Chairman’s Dinners and of course, curating the Archives and editing the Chronicle Magazine.
After 20 years, Rachel left a rather large set of boots to fill in 2021 as she left to travel and spend time with the next generation of her family. Rachel’s enthusiasm for all things Southwell was (and still is!) infectious and her massive impact within the school community has been witnessed in so many areas.
We are delighted to bring Rachel and her extraordinary wealth of knowledge and guidance to the group.
Geoff, Linda and Rachel’s incredible and ongoing support of Southwell is appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you all to the Fellows Family.
