The School is divided into six ‘Houses’, each named after a famous English Cathedral. Canterbury (blue), Durham (red), Lincoln (green), Salisbury (gold), Winchester (maroon), and York (black). The colour indicates the House T-Shirt / Jersey required for many sports events.
Each House has approximately the same number of students, a mixture of boarders and day students, and students from all year groups.
Each house has a Teacher in Charge, an Assistant, a Head of House and usually a School Prefect.
With the keen competitive fixtures and activities, the House system is a great success. Students with a wide variety of talents contribute to their Houses.
