Canterbury has had a wonderful year.
As House Leaders we love to see Canterbury
thrive. We are working towards bringing pastoral care groups into our routine and we think this definitely helps.
WHO ARE WE? CANTERBURY!
Every year we do House Singing and every year Canterbury rocks it. We had a lot of practice working on the singing and dancing. When the

day came we were all so excited and when we started we lit up the stage.
FOUNDER'S DAY
Eight weeks prior to Founder's Day Canterbury was already practising their moves for the house Line Dancing. Founder's Day is a day of pure fun, from the dancing to the bands performing, the fun never ends and the Canterbury spirit really shone through on the day as Canterbury silenced the crowd with our dance.
We have had so much fun this year in our house. We are so happy that in Canterbury we have unconditional support not only from the staff but also from the students.
A highlight of my year would have to be Cross Country. The Canterbury spirit was out of this world - everyone was cheering their fellow Cantabrians on, which is great to see as the Head of House. We also had some great top finishes. The overall Southwell spirit at that event was awesome. Canterbury has been a really fun house to be head of. I wish the Cantabrians all the best for the future. A highlight of the year would have to be getting head of this wonderful house. I have grown and learnt so much from it, and I am so grateful. Being able to run Canterbury has let me connect with lots of the younger kids. I now know what they enjoy and don’t enjoy, so much so that now we can do the things that they enjoy. I loved being Head of House and I will never forget the lessons this house has taught me.
