GIVE THE GIFT OF GIVING
The window is an energetic celebration of life and light. Life, starting from its source, the “hand of God”, spreads throughout the space in the form of the images of birds, hills and water. These images are all very much in keeping with what is familiar within life in Aotearoa/ New Zealand.
In spite of the tossing & turning of life’s ‘storms’ there is a sense of hope and preservation of life as seen in the shape of Noah’s Ark sitting securely above the turbulence.
Light is an important feature of the window – the rainbow above Noah’s Ark reminding us of God’s enduring love for the Earth and all humanity. The colour of this light is very ‘Southern Hemisphere’ in both its clarity and vigour.
The window will give all ages who view it something to take away into their own experience, thereby deepening a personal spiritual journey beyond the bounds of the Chapel.
