FOUNDER’S DAY: CELEBRATING 108 YEARS
The Southwell birthday party has become entrenched in Southwell tradition, and each year it seems to get bigger and better.
This year we were treated to speeches by the Chairman of the Board, Jeff de Leeuw, and Head Prefects, Rachel, Tri, Meera and Nate; house line-dancing; Mia Cooper Irish dancing; the Kapa Haka group, sporting their amazing new uniforms; staff line-dancing; the whole school conga; four way tug-o-war; rock bands; a birthday cake AND balloons!
The Foundation Board also had their AGM and attended the whole school Chapel service. It certainly is a day to remember!
