YEAR 3 CAMP : WAIHI SLEEPOVER
Anzac Bay at Waihi Beach
I felt scared when the bus left school but I knew that I would be safe with my teachers. We went to Karangahake Gorge and started a walk. We walked through tunnels and on the side there was an old trailer... it looked like it was about nine thousand years old!!!
Then we went through another skinny tunnel that was so dark inside. I felt really scared again. I started to shiver and grabbed on to the stone wall. Luckily, I had a torch.
We started to see with the help of the light and then ahead I saw a window. All of us rushed over to the window and nally we got out of the tunnel and nished the walk.

A moment in time: Bucking Boar Water Slide
I saw the dirty water when I was zooming down the massive water slide. I heard a big splash when I went into the water, faster than ever!
I saw the birds darting across the sky, racing to the tree tops.
I felt like a ash just like lightning.
I wondered if I would have time to eat my berry ice-cream.
