YEAR 4 CAMP : BOARDING-HOUSE BASED
Flying Kiwi at Karapiro!
I woke up on a scorching day in the Boarding House. Quirky Turkey was called and we all rushed and leaned against the wall.
Matua said good morning to everyone. It was Thursday and we were going to the Velodrome. I was shouting inside my head because I was sooo excited.
When we got dressed into everything we hopped onto the bus and travelled for half an hour (which felt like 10.) On the bus We Will Rock You was breaking the bus down! It was so loud!
When we got there we had a snack and we got into our groups. My group was number was 1. We did the bike route all the way to Cambridge. There were a few crashes into the electric fence and bushes too.
When I moved into the next group I couldn't believe my eyes because we were doing the pump track after the most tiring track but once I got on it I had so much fun.
It was an exhausting but fantastic day.
