  TENNIS
Tennis is summer and we all enjoy getting out onto the court in Terms 1 and 4. This year was no different!
We had two squads - our Top 20 group, which included our two xture teams, and a large group coordinated by Mrs McLean.
We created a Southwell Club Day in Term 4, where both squads could learn and develop their tennis as we do in our Saturday games.
We created ladder challenges in both singles and doubles games. We used one training like this and the other training was for developing our skills in different areas of the game.
We were lucky enough to play two xture games in Term 4, which are always a highlight. We learn and extend our abilities, challenged to reach our best selves on the courts.
The groups are both keen and enthusiastic to be playing and this makes coaching these students a pleasure.
The Top 20 have extended their skills and bring an admirable commitment to being part of this group.
It has been a memorable experience with these players and I hope that they all continue to enjoy this great game for many years to come.
