Who are we? CANTERBURY!! We've got heart
We've got guts! 102
As the Heads of Canterbury House, we had a hilarious and unforgettable time this year in this incredibly enthusiastic house team.
Being in Canterbury was definitely enjoyable for many different reasons - not just because of the exciting anticipation around perfecting the moves in House Singing, or the enjoyable time when we all learned the dance routine for Founder’s Day, but also because of the huge support everyone in the house gave to each other at all times.
This year, for House Singing, we sang the song Home by Phillip Phillips. We formed an incredible band and the house sang in tune, in perfect harmony. With our strong house spirit, we did incredibly well and had a fantastic experience. Huge thanks to Mrs Trenwith for her support with the choreography.
At this year’s Book Quiz, we loved how hard everyone tried and the eagerness of all involved to do well. The same Canterbury spirit was also demonstrated by those people who participated in Cross Country. Rest assured that all of your efforts counted... in this case quite literally!
All of these Canterbury experiences will be something that we will treasure throughout our lives. In the future we will probably look back at our younger days and smile when we think of the fun, laughter and friendships shared between us all. What special times...
As we continue our journey on to high school we will miss being part of such a special team and we wish all of our fellow Cantabrians the best for the future.
