Year 8 E-Pro8 team
E-pro8 is an engineering teamwork challenge. This year Southwell entered a Year 6 and a Year 8 team. The first challenge was to build a famous structure and trigger off pyrotechnics (party poppers) to create a 'wow' factor!
The Year 6s entered Big Ben and The Year 8 winning entry was The Golden Gate Bridge. Both Southwell teams qualified for the Hamilton final with their entries, where they placed sixth and fourth respectively. The competition was tense, with both teams missing out on the final only by a wingnut.
