                                                  COVID-19 HARDSHIP FUND
GIVE THE GIFT OF EDUCATION THIS YEAR
When one of our families finds itself in hardship, with their child’s future uncertain, the Southwell community bands together to offer support. This year, with the uncertainty and hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown, the Southwell School Foundation has created the COVID-19 Hardship Fund – dedicated to supporting the children and families struggling during this time.
Our purpose is to make a difference and what better difference to make in a child’s life than securing their education? In establishing this fund, our intent is to keep all of our students in school and provide both parents and children with stability and support – we wish to remove any uncertainty during this time.
It’s for these very situations of economic hardship that the Foundation was established and why we are committed to helping families with school fees throughout this time. But we need your help. Throughout the generations, the Southwell community has been known for its spirit of generosity, and in 2020, we’re asking you to give the gift of education.
Our purpose is to make a difference and what better difference to make in a child’s life than securing their education?
  HERE’S HOW YOU CAN HELP:
 FEE DONATION
Earlier this year, Southwell issued partial term fee credits to cover the period of remote learning when the full Southwell offering was not available. Subsequently, many families chose to donate those credits to the COVID-19 Hardship Fund and as of mid-May, 40 families have contributed to the Fund. We would like to offer our sincere thanks to those that made this donation and encourage others to consider doing the same.
    CASH DONATION
Every little bit helps when it comes to keeping children in school and enjoying the benefits of Southwell. Please consider making a donation of any amount you are able and know that it is received with gratitude.
