OSPORTS PAVILION OPENING

A beautiful Powhiri led guests through the Southwell Bush into the Pavilion and once formalities wrapped up the fun and celebration of sport really began.
current Students and VIP’s! Who knew some of our com- munity were so nimble...? Clearly some sneaky training had been undertaken!
Following on was the Wacky Sports Relay on the Turf, where contestants had a large pile of sporting equipment to wear or carry around a point, adding a piece per trip. In hearty competition, sport was the winner on the day although Mr Norman would likely disagree!
As much as we all loved our trusty old Sports shed (and she served us well!) we are looking forward to hosting many community sports events over the coming years in the new Alumni Sports Pavilion!
