YEAR 3 CAMP : OVERNIGHT AT WAIHI
At Waihi Top Ten I went to play with the eels. When I got there people were crowded around the bottom of the rocks. The eels were crowding together too. There were ducks too. A duck nearly got bitten by an eel. The eels jumped up like a snapper because there were bees.
Lockie Crosby (3KM)
At Bucking Boar Cornfield I saw a horse called Chocolate. We gave him the horse food. Its fur was brown and its mane was blond. It was a boy and it was an adult pony. There were pigs and chickens and a goat too. I had a great day there.
Isabel Moreland (3KM)
I was so excited to go to Surf School at Waihi Beach.
I stood up on the big, gigantic surfboard and tried to surf the humongous waves. One of the surf coaches said that I was a professional! The coach helped me catch the big waves and I caught about 20 good waves and even stood up!
We had to go to the scavenger hunt next. We had to find lots of things that were slippery, slimy, sloppy, spotty and soft. It was a fun day.
