COMBINED CHOIR TRIP TO SYDNEY
Both choirs went on a trip to Sydney at the end of Term 1.
The students, parents and staff had a wonderful time and the students represented themselves superbly.
The students gave two outside concerts, one at Pitt Street Mall and one at Paddington Markets. They also performed at a retirement village, sang in the Sunday service at Christ Church St Lawrence, particiated in a school exchange at Bondi Beach Primary, had a vocal workshop with Sam Allchurch and sang at many other impromptu settings.
The students also got to spend a day at the Blue Mountains (caving, cultural centre, Seven Sisters and Scenic World), they had a tour of the Opera House, a walking tour of Sydney, ate at many different restaurants and did lots of shopping.
A huge thank you to all the parents and staff that came to support this trip, Southwell's first overseas school trip.
