TECHNOLOGY
The Technology programme this year was based around creativity with the theme Make something I have never seen before. The students' problem solving, composure, quality of craftsmanship, teamwork, ability to think exibly, engineering skills and creative ideas were phenomenal.

Epro8 is an engineering teamwork challenge. This year Southwell School entered a team of four - Michael Crowther, Leon Lee, Oliver Fleming and Jonathan Crowther. We won our rst challenge with our robotic dragon which we built at school and submitted online. At the Hamilton semi-nal, we went to St Paul’s Collegiate and made a roller coaster. We placed second and qualied for the Waikato Region grand nal. At that competition we placed a credible fth.
