WATERPOLO
Southwell had two waterpolo teams this year.
Our Year 8 team was entered into Division 1 (Competitive) and came third.
Our Year 7 team was entered into Division 2 (Development) and also came third.
In addition to Sunday afternoon games and Wednesday afternoon practices, we have had some friendly games with the Waikato Waterpolo Under 14 team, and the junior waterpolo teams from St John’s College and Hamilton Boys' High School.
Thank you to Mrs Yolanda Rushbrooke for her amazing support of waterpolo, and to William Rushbrooke for being a committed Captain of Waterpolo this year.
It is great to see waterpolo growing at Southwell and we are in a positive position moving forward into 2021.
