HIGH ROPES
As I looked above, a shiver ran down my spine. I knew this was going to be a massive challenge.
The high ropes towered over me. As I got into my harness, I started breathing heavily, but not on purpose. This was the activity at camp I had been dreading.
But today I was going to conquer my fear!

ZIPLINE
My life flashed before my eyes as I was climbing up that ladder to the top.
As soon as I took that step off the board and started whizzing through the air I could see the entire Lake Taupo. It was the most beautiful thing I have seen in my life.
I felt so proud of myself as I was going through the air.
Soha Rohani
My heart was beating so fast as I was climbing up the ladder.
I tried not to look down. When I got to the top I peeked over the edge and my legs started shaking. I felt like I was fifty metres above the ground! I shivered with fear. The instructor instructed me to come to her. So I slowly walked to the tiny platform. The instructor attached me onto the zipline then she let me go.
After I was in the air I didn't feel scared any more!

THE WATERSLIDE
I'm huffing and puffing, exhausted from the steep hill and stairs leading up to
the waterslide.
I'm dripping wet and I have grass in my mouth. But I can't wait to do it again.
Then it's my turn and I'm racing Leva. We get on the slide, wait for the call, then go. We begin our bumpy ride. The wind blows our hair in all directions, the water spraying into my eyes and nose. I hit the bottom with a splash. I stare up the steep black slide, wrapping my towel around myself, then turn around and head for the shower.

THE RAFT
The icy spring breeze makes my hair dance in the wind, while I wait for the signal to get on the raft. I get on the unsturdy raft, mindful of what might happen. Within a blink of an eye I stumble and fall into the freezing water.
