The Boys’ Choir of All Hallows Chapel is an auditioned group that meets twice a week for all types of singing, from fun, vibey songs, to choral psalms for chapel services. This year we enjoyed another year of great singing.
We performed at a variety of events, including Super Sunday every term, Grandparents’ Day, Carol Services, Baptism Services, funerals and Kids’ Sing. This year we combined the Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs at the Kids’ Sing, creating an almighty force. We did amazingly well, coming away with a Gold Award and the Best Intermediate Choir.
Every service we did, we did with gusto and enthusiasm, filling the air with beautiful singing. Some favourites of the boys were
Te Iwi E, The Battle of Jericho and Kusimama.
All of this wouldn’t have been possible if not for our amazing Choir Director, Mrs McIntyre. She has led the Boys’ Choir with patience, passion and the occasional telling off, her wonderful skills and expertise helping us to be the best choir we can be. We are incredibly thankful for all the time and effort she has put into us and we will not forget everything she has done for us.
