It has been my absolute pleasure to be the Head Chorister of the Girls' Choir of All Hallows Chapel for 2022.
Ever since I started at Southwell I knew that I wanted to be a part of the sisterhood that is the Girls' Choir, but I never dreamed that I would be the lucky one to guide them this year.
Despite Covid still making sure we knew it was there, we managed to overcome it and achieve so much.
This year we have performed at Grandparents’ Day, Super Sundays, Carol Services, funerals, Baptism Services and Kids’ Sing, where we were lucky enough to win our category.
None of this would have been possible without the extensive support of an outstanding team of parents and staff. Thank you for enabling us to go on camp and for robing us. Thank you to Angela Smith, Eon Malon and Anne Cleaver for playing so beautifully with us. Chaplain and Mrs Walker, you are both wonderful, and, of course, none of this would be possible without the expertise, good humour and selflessness of Mrs Mclntyre.
Nothing I can say can truly express how thankful I am and how much I have loved being a part of this lively, vocal family.
