SALISBURY
Before Salisbury students of 2019 walked through the gates on the first day of Term 1, the teachers participated in a house competition involving a wide range of activities. We tried our best, as always, and that resulted in the first first place of 2019.
Some of the many things as Heads of House which we are proud of this year are: •Swimming Sports : everyone gave it a go
and tried their best
•House Book Quiz : first place!
•House Singing : a VERY close second place •Cross Country : another close second
•Line dancing performance to Wagon Wheel
and the Year 8s with their twist at the end - thanks to the group of girls who helped us organise it
•Athletics Day : we achieved a clean sweep in the relays, as well as winning overall.
We did our best and even if we didn't get a place, we still completed the race, swim, or run with a Salisbury smile on our faces.
We stand out amongst the crowd, partly because of our stunning colour, but also for the effort and perseverance we always show.
Thank you to all the teachers (especially Mrs Wathen) for making Salisbury the incredible house it is.
Lastly, we are so privileged to be part of the brightest, boldest, and bravest house of them all. Good luck for next year Salisbury, we will miss you.
