This year in Winchester we aimed to show positivity, towards each other, on the sports field and on the cultural stage. We dared to be different and put in 110 percent effort into our endeavours.
We started with positive thinking, focusing on this year's mantra: Teamwork makes the dream work. We wanted everyone involved in Winchester to feel like one big family.
With teamwork in mind, we welcomed 31 new students to the fold with open arms. They soon adjusted and have had an unbelieveable time sharing in our successes of finishing first in Junior Swimming, finishing first in Cross Country overall, choreographing both our House Singing and line-dance performances and doing it all with a smile on our faces.
As a house we have grown and thrived in developing our positive attitudes throughout the year. We showed house spirit uplifting those around us. This year we made a point of really enjoying each others' company and interacting more in House Meetings, making them a lot more enjoyable as we used games to interact, to learn names, develop friendships and most importantly have FUN!
Haydn Stoevelaar House Leader
As a leader of Winchester I have seen my house go from an OK attitude to one that gives everything a go. I feel very lucky to have been chosen to lead Winchester as it has a lot of pride and a positive spirit. Leaving, I will miss the people. It has a unique vibe and our attitude is always competitive, compassionate, and caring. I wish Winchester all the best and will miss it dearly.

As a Leader of Winchester I feel we have grown as a house, and made many improvements, I feel very privileged to have been a Head of House for 2019. I looked forward to my last official event - Athletics Day - which saddened me having to leave but I have confidence next year's leaders will continue to lead us well and I will always be a part of Winchester.
