YEAR 6 CAMP : CAMP COURAGE , TAUPO
   ON COLD AUTUMN DAYS...
My feet remember the painful blisters from my shoes,
My legs remember the cold icy water of Lake Taupo,
My body remembers the burn on my sides from the slip ‘n’ slide,
My arms remember the large kayak paddles stroking the water.
My hands remember the hot floating tyres for raft-building,
My face remembers the hot steamy splash of AC Baths waterslides,
My mind remembers next camp is soon.

REMEMBERING CAMP
My feet remember stinging from all the cuts from the rocky, stony lake beach,
My legs remembers stumbling on the Burma Trail

My body remembers doing the 45 push-ups in the Amazing Race,
